Narrative

A driver and a passenger were seriously hurt in a single-vehicle collision on Judge Orr Road near Highway 24 in Falcon on Wednesday. Colorado State Patrol said the driver was under the influence when the person lost control of his or her vehicle. As a result, the car swerved off the road and drove through a chainlink fence before hitting a large tree. Neither of the occupants wore their seatbelts and were hospitalized. The driver was arrested and charged with vehicular assault and driving under the influence.
