Narrative
MONTE VISTA, CO – A 34-year-old man lost his life when he crashed his Toyota Corolla head-on into a Dodge Ram 3500 on the southbound lanes of County Road 4 Wednesday. It is unclear what caused the 34-year-old man to drift out of the northbound lanes into the southbound lanes on this two-lane road. The 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Dodge Ram driver — a 71-year-old man — was sent to a hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers’ names have not been released.
