COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Three people were sent to a hospital, and two occupants died following a head-on collision involving three vehicles Tuesday.
This crash happened before 9 p.m. at the South Marksheffel Boulevard and Drennan Road junction.
Colorado Springs believes that one of the drivers may have traveled at a high rate, which led to the collision.
The two people who passed away succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. First responders took the driver of the second vehicle to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening wounds, while two other individuals were hospitalized for unspecified injuries and appeared to be in stable condition.
