Narrative
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Emergency crews reported to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision with injuries on the far-east side of Colorado Springs Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the area of Constitution Avenue and Highway 24, which is just east of the Cimarron Hills area.
There’s no word yet regarding what caused three vehicles to crash, nor is it clear how many people sustained injuries. Police say that medics transported multiple victims to the hospital.
The accident partially closed the intersection for almost three hours Wednesday night while crews attended to the victims and worked to clear the wreckage.
A full investigation is underway.
