JEFFERSON CO., CO – One person died, and another person was hurt Thursday after a two-vehicle crash involving a tanker truck along the interstate near Morrison.
The incident happened on I-70 westbound just west of Denver.
Police say that a vehicle struck a tanker truck that was parked along the interstate. The collision caused the truck to catch fire, killing one person in the vehicle. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
The truck driver went to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
