Narrative
BENT CO., CO – A 57-year-old man died Monday afternoon after a motorcycle crash along the highway in northwest Bent County.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. around mile marker 400 near Las Animas.
Police say the motorcyclist lost control of his bike along a curve in the roadway and crashed.
Authorities declared the victim deceased at the scene. They’ve not yet released his identity to the public.
A full investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
