Narrative
AURORA, CO – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries Monday when the driver of a sedan intentionally entered the bike’s path.
The incident occurred just before 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Jewell Avenue and South Havana Street, which is just south of Buckingham Village Shopping Center.
Police say that the driver of a beige sedan swerved into the path of a stolen Harley Davidson on the westbound side of East Jewell, causing the motorcycle to wreck.
The operator died after transport to an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released their identity to the public.
The car involved in the crash left the scene. Police are currently looking for a beige sedan with likely damage to the passenger side. They have not released a description of the driver.
A full investigation is underway.
