Narrative
AURORA, CO – One man died Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in northwest Arapahoe County.
The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Jewell Avenue and South Old Town Morris Road on the east side of Aurora.
Police say that an westbound Nissan Altima struck an eastbound Honda Civic when the driver of the Civic turned in front of the Nissan.
The driver of the Honda died shortly after transport to an area hospital. Authorities have not disclosed his name to the public.
The driver of the Nissan, an unidentified woman, stopped to render aid and speak with police. She did not sustain injuries in the wreck.
