COMMERCE CITY, CO – One man died, and another sustained serious injuries Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash in southwest Adams County.
The incident happened sometime before 10:34 p.m. on US-85 at East 56th Avenue in Commerce City.
Police say that one driver ran a red light and entered the path of an SUV. The SUV struck the first vehicle, sending it into a guardrail.
One driver died at the scene. Authorities haven’t yet released his name to the public.
Medics transported the other driver to the hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
