COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Two students on board a school bus sustained minor wounds after their driver collided with a pickup truck Wednesday.
This crash took place around 9:30 a.m. at the North Powers Boulevard and Interquest Parkway junction. The bus driver and five students, elementary to high school-aged students, were on their way to Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind when the crash happened. The pickup truck suffered significant damage, and the front of the bus had some front-end damage.
The students, who suffered minor injuries, were treated on-site. All students were transported to school via another school bus.
While the details of this crash are unclear, the pickup truck driver is alleged to have caused this collision and will “likely be cited.”
