Narrative
AURORA, CO – A 26-year-old man riding a white sport bike lost his life after he ran a red light at East Iliff Avenue and South Havana Street and was hit by two vehicles turning left on Sunday.
This collision happened before 10 p.m. Aurora Police confirmed that the motor bike rider struck a white Dodge Caravan first, and the impact of this initial crash then led a driver of a black Chevy sedan (also making a left turn) to hit the motorbike rider.
The 26-year-old man succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. His name will be released by Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.
The other drivers remained at the scene. There have been no indications made of citations or charges.
