DENVER, CO – A pedestrian lost their life after they were hit by a Light Rail train on the 600 block of Mariposa Street, reported after 7 p.m. Thursday. Denver Police declared the pedestrian dead at the scene and advised travelers to steer clear of the area, and announced delays. It is unclear what exactly brought about this crash and when delays will die down. Officials have also not released the name of the pedestrian at this time.
