Narrative
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A woman was killed after she exited her vehicle and stepped onto traffic on I-25 at 11:55 p.m. Saturday. Police said she was arguing with her passenger and exited her vehicle. Police believe she may have intentionally stepped into traffic with the intention of taking her own life. The southbound lanes on I-25 near Woodmen Road closed for several hours and reopened around 5 a.m.
