Narrative
A 17 year-old Italian exchange student died after being run-over near Doherty High School on March 22nd. The accident occurred when a Jeep failed to yield to a red light and continued driving when the pedestrian had the right of way. This happened at 7:30 in the morning when the teenager was crossing Barnes Road. The school did close down for the rest of that day. The next day, even though classes resumed, counselors were provided by the school for anyone in the school community who might require their assistance. Out of respect to the family, the name of the deceased individual has been kept private.
This is NOT a real crash report. It is simply meant to be a demonstration of what an official accident report looks like, and it was made using information provided by KKTV.
