Narrative
A cement truck struck a median and lay on its side, causing some closures on I-70 on Feb. 8th. The incident occurred in the morning, around 9:15a.m, close to the 54th mile marker. An image of the truck taken in the afternoon shows that the vehicle and the debris surrounding it were still present. Because the area had to be cleared up, one lane was closed on both sides of the median. The cause of the crash is not fully understood at this time, although it is known that no one was hurt in the accident. Possible factors of the cause crash may have been speed or distraction. The Colorado State Patrol stated that it was investigating the accident.
